Banyu in Javanese philosophy represents the interconnectedness of life, the importance of purity and balance, and the recognition of water as a vital element for both sustenance and spirituality. Water is believed to cleanse both the body and the soul. This is reflected in Javanese art and philosophy, which often seeks to achieve harmony and balance in various aspects of life. I attempted to simplify or transform elements in this series in order to make them less complex or more abstract, finding stimulus from the fluidity of water and the motif of Pamor Wos Wutah itself. This creates an expression of fluid lines that respond organically to the flow of the motif’s lines.

The philosophy of the Wos Wutah or Beras Wutah keris pamor is that it signifies spilled rice. Wos wutah symbolizes "Gemah Ripah Loh Jinawi," which can be interpreted as "tranquil, prosperous, and abundant livelihood." The beras wutah pamor represents the hope and desire of the empu to obtain abundant harvests or a more prosperous life. In today's context, wos wutah signifies abundant sustenance and income. This pamor wos wutah can also serve as a reminder, especially for married couples, as they navigate the ship of their household. It signifies that once something has changed, it will be very difficult to return to the original state. This serves as a reminder for humans to be more careful because once changes have occurred, it will be difficult to revert to the way things were, no matter how much effort is exerted. In navigating married life, one must strive to prevent the rice from spilling. This is related to the trust that is held; once it has been spilled, the respect received from one's partner will not be the same. Even if it can be restored, it will undoubtedly take time, but one pillar of the household may be diminished, that being trust.

The name "Saraswati" itself comes from the Sanskrit word meaning "one who possesses water", "related to water", or "flowing with clarity". Therefore, in this context, "Saraswati" can be associated with the concept of clear, pure, and fertile water. Additionally, water also symbolizes clarity of mind and inspiration flowing like a river. Thus, Saraswati is considered as a source of knowledge and inspiration that provides fertility and wisdom to humanity.
